About All Time Low

All Time Low formed in Towson, Maryland in 2003 while the members were still in high school. The band’s core line-up — Alex Gaskarth, Jack Barakat, Zack Merrick and Rian Dawson — became unusually stable for a pop-punk act, and that consistency helped them build a strong identity: bright choruses, self-aware lyrics, big touring energy and a close relationship with fans.

After early independent releases, All Time Low broke through with So Wrong, It’s Right in 2007. The album included Dear Maria, Count Me In, a song that grew from scene favourite into one of the most recognisable pop-punk tracks of its generation. Their next album, Nothing Personal, pushed the band into a bigger, cleaner and more radio-ready sound with songs like Weightless and Damned If I Do Ya.

The 2010s saw All Time Low experiment with major-label polish, darker pop production and more adult songwriting. Don’t Panic reconnected with the band’s pop-punk roots, while Future Hearts became one of their biggest commercial releases. Later, Wake Up, Sunshine brought them back to a warmer band-focused sound and produced Monsters, their biggest modern hit.

What separates All Time Low from many bands of their era is how long they have remained active, recognisable and commercially relevant. They never fully left pop-punk behind, but they also avoided becoming trapped by nostalgia. Their newer albums show a band still chasing big choruses while keeping the humour, energy and emotional directness that made fans connect in the first place.

01
Dear Maria, Count Me In
So Wrong, It’s Right
The signature All Time Low song and one of the defining pop-punk anthems of the late 2000s. Its opening line, enormous chorus and fast, clean energy made it a scene staple, but its afterlife is even more impressive: it kept finding new listeners years after release. For many fans, this is the All Time Low entry point.
2007
02
Weightless
Nothing Personal
Weightless is All Time Low’s best motivational anthem: simple, direct and built for people who need a reset. The chorus turns frustration into forward movement, and the production captures the band at their most polished without losing their personality.
2009
03
Monsters
Wake Up, Sunshine
The band’s biggest modern-era track, Monsters proved All Time Low could still land a huge alternative radio moment deep into their career. The hook is darker and sleeker than their early work, but the emotional pull is classic All Time Low. It also introduced them to listeners who missed the original pop-punk boom.

Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don’t)
Nothing Personal
A perfect example of the band’s glossy pop-punk confidence. The verses are cheeky, the chorus is instantly memorable and the whole song feels designed for festival crowds. It is one of the clearest bridges between their early scene roots and their bigger commercial ambitions.

05
Somewhere in Neverland
Don’t Panic

06
A Love Like War
Don’t Panic: It’s Longer Now!
Featuring Vic Fuentes of Pierce the Veil, this track became one of the band’s most beloved collaborations. The call-and- response vocal setup gives it extra drama, and the chorus hits with the urgency of two scene worlds colliding. It is a fan favourite for good reason.
2013
07
Kids in the Dark
Future Hearts
One of the biggest tracks from Future Hearts, Kids in the Dark turns alienation into a massive communal chorus. It is polished, dramatic and built for arenas, showing how All Time Low expanded their sound without fully abandoning pop-punk.
2015
08
Lost in Stereo
Nothing Personal

Remembering Sunday
So Wrong, It’s Right
The acoustic ballad that proved All Time Low could slow down without losing emotional impact. The duet structure gives it a theatrical feel, and it remains one of the band’s most important non-party songs. It helped broaden the emotional range of their early catalogue.
